MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN

When Mr. Donald J. Trump got elected as President of America in his first term, I had prepared a strategic plan to Make America Great Again and posted the article on my website blog - sssinha.wordpress.com on 26/12/2016. After that I twitted the link of my article to him, the hon. vice president Mr. Pence, and hon. speaker of the house Mr. Paul Ryan. I also twitted the link of my article to Ms. Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. for their info.

Later, due to the obstructions in approving funds by the congress for the construction of fence on the southern border, and making America a manufacturing hub, I sent a hard copy of my proposal again to the Hon. President Mr. Trump on January 9th, 2018, with copies to the vice president and speaker of the house by Canada post. Copy of postal receipts are pasted hereunder.

In January of 2019, the US government was having the longest shutdown for want of a paltry sum of $5 billion for construction of southern wall. Being an admirer of America, it’s immense potentiality and capabilities, it was heart breaking for me to see President Trump struggling in congress for the funding, whereas I had already suggested ways to raise billions of dollars for the construction of wall and infrastructure development projects such as roads and bridges, in the country from others money. Therefore, I sent another email message on the official website on January 17th, 2019, to him. A copy of my email message is also pasted hereunder.

Being a strategic management consultant, I had adopted a holistic approach to handle the financial, political and manufacturing crisis of America happening due to the shipment of jobs abroad. My proposal was on voluntary basis, and I had no intention to look for compensation or any financial benefit from the government of USA. If somebody from his office or from the office of the VP or the speaker of the house, would have acknowledged my work, that would have been my reward/compensation for the efforts. Later, due to the anti-Trump sentiments created by the Biden government after January 6th, 2021, event, I removed my article from the website blog to avoid reprisal and closed my Facebook and twitter account in the year 2022.

Now, in his second term, President Trump is making decisive and aggressive decisions to turn around the table in favor of American manufacturing by levying reciprocal tariffs. He is doing a commendable job together with DOGE headed by Mr. Elon Mask, a great visionary and entrepreneur of our time. I salute him and his team for taking difficult decisions to weed out misuse and pilferages. I think, every country and politicians should be nationalist first and think about their country and countrymen more than rest of the world.

I am pasting hereunder the messages sent to Mr. Trump and my proposals for making America great again. I wish him good health and luck in his endeavour.

Sub:    Proposal for developing SME’s in America for generating large scale employment opportunity and to build Mexican wall without cost to the Government of the United States.

Dear Mr. President,

At the outset, I wish you and your team a very happy new year 2018 and I hope your presidency will become a turning point in the history of America for fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of millions of Americans for a better future. I am sure your vision and capability as a President will bring a new dawn in America in the new year.

I had tweeted a couple of messages to you and the honorable vice president immediately after you won the election, about my offer to participate in your call for making America great again. I had also posted couple of articles on my blog with my proposals and have been waiting to hear from you.

I am a strategic management consultant, a Canadian citizen and a great admirer of American wisdom and success. America has given a lot to the world in terms of peace, prosperity, and scientific achievements. In turn, if I could share my years of experience by suggesting my strategy for creating employment opportunities for millions of Americans and building the wall on the southern border without government funding, then it would be an honor for me.

Your recent tax reform has been a bold step in encouraging large US companies to bring back their capital parked outside the country, and induce them to invest in their home country for generating employment and increasing the personal wealth of individual Americans. However, large companies may provide employment opportunities to couple of thousands of Americans, but I feel that 100% employment can be accomplished, if a strategy could be planned for boosting the small-scale manufacturing and focusing selected service areas specially for the SME’s (Small and Medium size Enterprises).

According to a report on entrepreneurship published in October 2016, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMS’s) with fewer than 500 employees, make up 99% of all firms, employ over 50% of private sector employees, and generate 65% of net new private sector jobs. SME’s account for over half of U.S non-farm GDP, and represent 98% of all U.S exporters and 34 % of the U.S. export revenue.

Therefore, SME’s provide sizeable employment and a focus is required to boost the employment rate at SME’s level. In the current trade atmosphere where there is no level playing field and almost every household and industrial product is being manufactured abroad; and jobs related to service sectors are also outsourced due to their low cost of procurement, it would be difficult for SME’s to compete and survive without government intervention in bringing change into the trade policies. Therefore, besides re-structuring the current entrepreneurship program, certain segments of goods and services also need to be reserved for the SME’s by way of imposing import duties as it has been done in the case of lumber import from Canada. To support my strategy, a large scale vocational and technical training program for such segments of trade also needs to be put in place to fill the vacuum of skilled labour and professionals to work for the SME’s.

I have attached herewith two proposals as Annexure A & Annexure B for 1) creating employment opportunities for millions of American, and 2) to protect the border by building a Mexican wall for stopping illegal immigration without increasing the US debt ceiling for its construction or putting an extra burden on the state exchequer. My strategic plans will not only generate $300 billion as revenue, construct a Mexican wall, and boost the entrepreneurship program in USA, but it will also provide surplus funds for the large-scale reconstruction projects in America.

If you find merit in my proposal, then I am willing to make a presentation to you or prepare a framework for the projects either myself or with a team of experts having vision and passion to make the project successful and America great again.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

With best of regards,

Suman S. Sinha

Annexure-A

RESTRUCTURING OF THE EXISTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM FOR SME’S

My premise and strategic planning is based on the following changes to be made in the trade laws and providing necessary incentives to introduce large scale entrepreneurship program in the country.

1.     Identifying and reserving certain products only to be manufactured by small and mid size companies in America under entrepreneurial program.

2.     Imposition of import duties on those protected items or related items to make them competitive in the home country.

3.     Awarding the collected import duties as incentives to SME’s to encourage the entrepreneurial program.

4.     Introducing a bill for providing tax holidays on such programs for certain period to induce participation.

5.     Launching an aggressive entrepreneurial training program in the country with special focus on women, military servicemen, physically challenged and aboriginals. The program may include start-ups and industrial trainings in related products.

6.     Launching a vocational training program for the prospective employees to work in such protected areas.

7.     Every city and the province should have a target to hire certain number of people within a given time depending upon the nature and viability of the businesses.

8.     Providing federal funds or incentives to bank for financing such programs at a low cost.

9.     Program Directors may be appointed for every state with their targets and milestones.

10.  Appointing a team of experienced consultants for making strategic plans with vision to make it successful, prepare the project framework, overseeing the implementation, overcoming road blocks, suggest changes in rules and regulations and report to you directly for advice and to make it effective and successful.

Annexure-B

BUILDING THE BORDER WALL WITHOUT GOVERNMENT FUNDING

I keep hearing about the cost of building wall on the Mexican border and its fiscal impact on the total debt of the country. Everybody talks about the enormous expenses, but nobody talks about making it possible without involving government money or raising the debt ceiling.  It has also become a bargaining point for the democrats on the DACA immigration issue.

Therefore, my strategic plan involves raising funds for the construction of border wall, 24/7 electronic surveillance and securing the social, economic and political interest of the country.

My vision and strategy are based on the following facts and premises:

HISTORICAL FACTS:

1.     The total length of US-Mexico border is about 1,989 miles and out of that only 700 miles are under effective control due to the high security fencing made under the Secure Fencing Act of 2006.

2.     According to a report published by the Global Security.org; “DHS’s US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) contractor, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), had completed about 93 miles of primary SBI fencing costing approximately $198 million as of September 30, 2007, and about 215 miles of fencing costing about $265 million as of October 31,2008. Seventy-one of the miles completed as of September 30th, 2007, were pedestrian fencing completed at costs ranging from $400,000 to $4.8 million per mile and averaging $2.9 million per mile.”

3.     The cost of building a wall depends upon the topography of the land and from where it is passing through. As such, there have been different estimates for its cost of construction. As per the Global Security.org, “if a 2,000-mile state-of-the-art border fence is constructed then it may cost between four to eight billion dollars”. According to another report published in ibtimes.com by Cristina Silva, “the cost of building a wall could be as high as $16 million per mile, with a total price tag of $15 billion to $25 billion”

STARTEGY FOR RAISING FUNDS:

Funds to build a wall all along the southern border, can be raised domestically, and not by government borrowings but from the people responsible for this huge expense. This can be done based on providing permanent status to people living illegally in America. If these people are asked to leave the country, then there may be enormous social and political impact. Therefore, my strategy entails legalizing the hard working and law-abiding people the way Canada and Australia have made their immigration program. This program can be a one-time amnesty program, subject to the compliance of policies of the government and payment of a processing and legalizing fee.

COST OF IMMIGRATION TO CANADA:

By law, Canada requires that anybody who is immigrating to Canada as a permanent resident must bring or show proof of funds that they would be bringing to Canada upon approval of their application for immigration. The amount varies for a single person from CA$12,164 to a family of four CA$22,603. Furthermore, they must spend anywhere between CA$3,000 to CA$5,000 as application fee, landing fee, lawyers fee and citizenship fee. Therefore, in total, it costs them anywhere from CA$15,000 to CA$27,000 to immigrate to Canada.

COST OF IMMIGRATION TO AUSTRALIA:

The visa charges for immigrating to Australia varies anywhere between AU$7,000 to AU$12,000 for a family unit, and after adding the total budget for initial settlement it comes to AU$12,000 to AU$18,000 for a single migrant to AU$30,000 to AU$40,000 for a family of four.

Therefore, immigration is not free for living in a developed and civilized country. We all have paid a fair share of our contribution in migrating to Canada or Australia and anybody who wants to migrate to USA must pay the cost of immigration.

PROPOSED COST OF LEGALIZATION OF ILLEGAL RESIDENTS IN USA:

My strategy involves the followings:

1.     Out of 12 to 14 million illegal nationals living in USA, about a million-people having criminal backgrounds, may be identified and deported.

2.     The remaining 12 to 13 million hard working and law abiding Spanish speaking people may be legalised according to law.

3.     The US government may charge legalization fee of US$20,000 to US$30,000 depending upon the number of their family members.

REVENUE GENERATED AND COST OF CONSTRUCTION:

If we charge $25,000 per family (Average) as legalization fee from 12 million illegal residents, then the math works out as follows:

·      Legalization Fee = 12,000,000 X $25,000    =          US$ 300,000,000,000 ($300 billion)

·      Less: Cost of construction of wall

$16,000,000 per mile X 2,000 miles              =          US$   32,000,000,000  ($32 billion)

·      Net Surplus                                                    =          US 268,000,000,000   ($268 billion)

OTHER MEASURES FOR SECURING THE BORDER:

1.     One or two surveillance satellites can be installed in the space specially to monitor activities on the border and desert areas.

2.     Drones may be installed to provide support to border security force.

3.     The balance fund can be used for the large-scale re-construction projects to repair aging bridges, roads and tunnels.

Therefore, the entire cost of construction can be recovered without selling treasury bonds or increasing debt ceiling. I am sure every Mexican, Spanish speaking people or other people as decided by the US government, living in United States should be more than happy to pay above amount in becoming a proud resident and citizen of the United States of America.

Furthermore, I do believe that every law-abiding person living anywhere in the world, should be given a second chance and this step will certainly foster a sense of safety, security and a sense of belongingness among the Mexicans, Spanish speaking or other people living in the United States of America. Besides as President you will gain huge political mileage and support of Spanish speaking people, if the plan is presented and implemented with vision and due care.

COPY OF EMAIL SENT

Honorable Mr. President Trump,

It is very depressing to see that the US government is having the longest shutdown for a mere $5 billion for constructing wall at the Southern Border. Whereas, you could have easily raised $300 billion from the 14 million illegal aliens living in USA at their cost and consequences, while creating a strong vote bank for yourself and the GOP. I have tried to communicate several times through Tweets to you, your family members and the vice president Mr. Pence, but there was no acknowledgement whatsoever. I had also provided my strategic views on other topics but again there was no response. Therefore, I am sending this message through email and hope, you will be able to read my blog and think for your next course of action.

I have also strategically planned a model to make the current shutdown in your favor without forcing 600,000 federal employees to go through financial hardship, while showing the mirror to your adversaries. I can provide my plans upon hearing from you or from your office. In order to read my strategic advice on border wall, you may read my blog: https://sssinha.wordpress.com/2016/12/26/securing-the-borders-usa-and-mexico/
